Leopard

Leopard conservation is approached within its multifaceted complexity. First, cats which pose a threat to farmers cattle are captured on ranches and released in safe areas with the assistance of full time vets. In addition, farmers attend educational workshops to gain insight about alternative means to deter leopards so that the risk of leopards being shoot is decreased. Lastly, thanks to the generosity of donors, we are able to fit leopards with collards upon relocation in order to monitor their movement and ensure that they do not venture into human settlements.
