Habitats & Biodiversity

By saving the habitat of iconic species, we ensure habitat suitability for many other species.

CBBs mission is to discover and document biodiversity situated in various habitats and to provide evidence-based guidelines for valued habitat conservation.

African SAVANNAS

African savannas are one of the richest biodiversity habitats worldwide. CBB addresses one of the most prominent challenges; establishing self-sustaining conservation-based parks across international borders. Conservation can not be done in an effective way when in isolation. We utilize various statistical methods to solve for the impact of various wildlife management practices and the drive for economic profitability, upon the conservation of species and land across Africa.

Forests of India

By saving tiger habitat, we ensure habitat suitability for other species. (Biodiversity Study of JOR - JAMBHALI Region, Wai, Satara, Maharashtra.)

30 camera traps are situated along a forest habitat connecting two protected areas. Evidence suggests that this are (125Km2), between a sanctuary and a national park is, acts as a corridor for tiger breeding. This study benefits local communities while promoting habitat conservation. The objectives are twofold: (1) introduce alternative livelihoods designed to involve communities in conservation-based behaviors, and (2) discover and document local fauna and flora.

Fisheries

Sustainable Fisheries creates alternative livelihoods. Human population growth and expansion entails that much of the worlds fisheries suffer from unsustainable harvesting. Local communities are equipped with skills enabling sustainable harvesting skills.
